Guex
Anthony Guex is a Swiss product and interior designer based in Lausanne. He began his career as a cabinetmaker before going to work as a workshop manager in the wood industry. Later, he studied interior design at HEAD Genève and earned a Master’s degree in product design at ECAL Lausanne. Anthony currently divides his time between his design studio and ECAL, where he serves as Artistic Deputy. His practice focuses on product, furniture and interior design. He is co-founder of the interior and exhibition studio XPO.
Two
Step
Two Step is a step stool. Designed as a small wooden object – both a furniture piece and a functional tool –Two Step is versatile. It serves as a small ladder, a high stool, a shelf or a side table. Rather than something to be stored away, the step stool is meant to be an integral part of the home. An everyday staple, imbued with character and purpose.
